Create Space, was born from Lego's commitment to supporting employee mental health. With a focus on fostering a healthy work-life balance, Lego sought a way to provide employees the time and space they needed for their well-being. The solution? A 3D animated piece that symbolically captures this message through the use of iconic Lego figures.
The animation showcases Lego characters actively creating space by pushing and pulling a vibrant yellow wall—a color synonymous with Lego’s playful spirit. Some characters work individually, while others team up, representing both the personal and collective effort needed for mental wellness. Throughout the animation, on-screen text punctuates the narrative, emphasizing the importance of balance and the positives of creating space for wellbeing.

I carefully created digitally a 3D Lego figure, using real-life references to ensure the accuracy and authenticity of the character. From concept to completion, I handled every aspect of the animation process, including the integration of dynamic typography to reinforce the campaign’s message.
By marrying playful visuals with a meaningful cause, Create Space reinforces the idea that mental health isn't just an individual journey—it's a collective effort that requires time, space, and support. This animation serves as a gentle yet powerful reminder to Lego employees: it’s okay to pause, reflect, and take care of themselves.
